Have you heard...

Have you heard, Jewish American Heritage Month, or the latest ploy to make the Jews feel comfortable at the White House. Not all Jews, just the Jews that agree the present administration are welcome.

Everyone was all smiles as the President stated how US – Israel relations were as strong as ever. Some nice “Jewish” jokes were told and the Kedem wine flowed.

I don’t buy it - this last Jew-in is part of a continuing attempt to separate Jews from their land, their heartland. The US administration is busy alienating any Jew who believes that Judea and Samaria is part of their heritage, not their 350-year-old American heritage, but their 3000-year-old heritage.

Whether it is part of an overall strategic policy regarding the Middle East and the isolation of Iran or a cheap shot at getting back Jewish votes, the results will be a further division of the Jewish people.

I am sure everyone has heard the saying – “United we Stand, Divided we fall”, well… it seems that is the plan.

It was even heard by one of the Rabbi’s who attended that he realizes that the “Settlers” are the main obstruction to peace in Israel. I’ll bet that this Rabbi hasn’t even been around Judea and Samaria. I know he is not alone, I’m sure the majority of the honored guests haven’t been to Judea and Samaria, let alone meet some “settlers” and I am sure they all think that it is the “settlers” who are keeping peace from the Middle East, and for that matter the world, Ignorance is bliss.

I had no idea that the 300,000 Jews of Judea and Samaria wielded such power…wow!

Blazing Camels

Today many nations of the world are supporting one of the greatest illusions of the 20th century… the “Palestinian nation”, totally ignoring history and the connection of Jews to this land. These same nations and people champion and work towards an ethnic cleansing of Jews in parts of Israel (for now). Boycotts against Israel, (who has given more to the world, compared with most other nations today), World-wide anti Israel activities are popular amongst the supposed “intellectuals”, among many other despicable actions, all this while countless Muslims around the world are being slaughtered daily by other Muslims, (mostly Arabs). Mosques are being blown up, a Muslim communities are being ravaged in many Arab countries, again while the Arab and Muslim world (and UN) keep quiet, just to name a few.

You know why the Arabs keep quiet, because they think it is alright for Muslims to kill each other, it is alright to kill Jews and Africans, they have been doing it for millennia anyway, here’s the bad news, the world thinks it’s OK also.

Gee, sounds kind of one-sided, sort of racist, you know what I mean?

The latest joke cropping up this side of the Jordan is now the Arab Palestinian Authority is calling for a boycott of goods made in the communities and Industrial Zones of Judea and Samaria. Their spokesman just said minutes ago that they do not care about Arabs loosing their jobs. This is so typical… the Arab leaders have never cared about their own people, only about themselves. Sound biased? Ask any Arab living in an Arab country, not the runaway expats in the US. They better start praying that their own people don’t lynch them soon.

Mel Brooks, where are you when we need you?

Chag Shavuot Sameach

The other day, a contingent from the far off world of Tel Aviv came to visit Shilo. The discussion was based on the image of the Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria the world sees, and the image that the rest of Israel sees. Obviously the pride of our region often goes unnoticed or unrecognized, be they world class University Professors, Doctors, Heroes of Disaster ridden Haiti, Artists or just the good people who surround us daily, the world sees what the media shows them, most often the negative side (which is the minority).

One major topic came up that should bring pride to anyone living in Judea and Samaria, that being the family, community, Zionist and Jewish values that exist in the Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria are noticeably being missed in the rest of the country.

Our children are being looked upon as what should be, and what many parents wish for their own. Nothing to do with a specific religious outlook, as our communities are not defined by religious adherence or affiliation, indeed we are quite mixed. Many in Israel are reminiscing about the “good old days”, and they are seeing them again in the Jewish population of Judea and Samaria. Israel is waking up, despite our politician’s unrealistic views and ideas. Unfortunately many of our fellow Jews outside of Israel do not see this, simply because they are afraid or “pressured” into not coming and visiting these communities, so much for “Birthright” or the various “Leadership” Missions. I do not plan on “bashing” others, their loss far out-weighs their gains.

Wake up NOW!

Shavuot is upon us, thank Gd, one again we celebrate the giving and the receiving of the Torah, we also celebrate the harvest, again giving and receiving, in short…Heaven and Earth coming together. Eternal connections that were made long ago that last forever, that should always be together.

Like the Jewish people and the Land of Israel.

Elvis has left the building

Yet another “Artist” cancels his performance in Israel, due to “political pressure” he says. Elvis Costello does not want his name associated with Israel and the “Palestinian conflict”. Guess what…Elvis… we don’t want you or any other spineless, hypocritical, student of deceit, so called “Artist” associated with it also. We are here for the real people, you know the truth seekers, those who have self respect and values.

Amazing, this “pressure” we keep on hearing about. It has put a noose on “Hollywood”, Washington and New York, it is strangling free speech and thought, it is crippling University campuses and it is blinding justice throughout the world, it is causing our people outside of Israel to hide…to name a few.

It has many names; I will stick with one of them, pure, unadulterated hatred. Hatred, not necessarily of Jews or all Jews (depending who you ask), but of anything that has to do with real Jewish identity, strength, and lets not forget, any splinter of a Jewish land.

It’s the popular and “in” thing to be nowadays. Anti Israel is cool, it doesn’t matter whether it is right or wrong, it’s “cool”. You know, like when it was “cool” to hate Jews in Germany back a few years.

How many of you just thought… “Hey, that’s a bit extreme”? Is it?

A Mixed Day

Tonight we start the celebrations of Yom Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Day), the day Jerusalem was liberated in 1967. Many people in the world do not realize the full scope of this day. Indeed hearing “the Temple Mount is in our hands” after 2000 years would be enough for almost any Jew to swoon with joy… that is, any caring Jew.

There was and is so much more. Many forget, it wasn’t just Jerusalem that was liberated, but our entire heartland, the land that is our historical connection to our past as a people in Israel. Cities such as Shechem (Nablus), Shilo, Bet El, Bet Lechem, Hebron, to name a few, not just names, but living present history. It wasn’t just our heart liberated that day, but our entire body and soul also. The nation and people felt whole again after so many years. Jews all over the world as one nation stood tall and glowed, what else could they do, we were once again a true sovereign nation reconnecting with thousands of years of our history.

Despite that we celebrate this miracle, this victory today, we must remember that the battle is not over… in fact it is just heating up.

In 1967 we fought the Arab nations surrounding us (and their sponsors), today it is much more complex, it seems most of the world has put our heartland in their sights, even many of our own. The challenge standing before us is great, it is demanding, and it must be met, now.

Tonight’s start of celebrations must be a call to all of our people and to all who support Israel to band together, to wake up and to face our enemies, to stand up to them. We must not let ourselves get distracted by dignitary’s artificially sweetened words, by deceit of supposed advocates of our nation, by the smiles of back stabbing enemies.

In 1967 a miracle was performed, we must continue to prove that we are worthy of that miracle, that gift, today, it must not be taken away from us, or worst, given away by us.

Just as our land was brought back together, we too must be brought back together, to stand as one, as much as possible. It is our unity that brings peace to the region, our strength that deters our enemies from attacking. The time has come to be who we are, to act as who we are, the Jewish people in the Jewish land.

I know that’s a lot to ask for, but it is the only solution there is, the only one that will really work for all.

People around the world pray for the “Peace of Jerusalem”, our enemies prey for a piece of Jerusalem.

Chag Sameach!

More "Two State Solutions"....

More Two State Solutions….

Having just returned from a Speaking tour in the US, I have been noticing that the Buzz Word “Two State Solution” seems to be a proper solution for many, however not for Israel.

One of the most noticeable changes I witnessed during this trip was the increased polarization occurring in the US. For example, only six months ago while visiting LA, I saw by the mere mention of a non-supportive statement of the present US administration brought about a hostile reaction. Today, it seems that in LA, many more than a “few” tote anti White House thoughts, and it seems the numbers of “Anti Obama-ites” are growing at an alarming rate. (Something that is definitely not pleasing to the Secret Service)

A quick trip to the Mid West and I was astonished at how many voice their opposition to the White House and their crew of “Henchmen” (a quote). The opinions spanned numerous issues from Immigration, Medical Reform, Taxes and the list goes on and on, I didn’t even hear anything regarding Israel till the end of the list.

It seems that this “split” is taking a deep hold in the United States, and this chasm seems to be widening every day, a solution is needed, and needed quickly.

So obviously what is needed is the “Two State Solution”, (Fifty, doesn’t seem to be working). This will make America great again, this will solve all of the problems, the “Two State Solution” is the salvation needed.

Separation is the answer, no longer are we to be tasked with working things out, you take the high road and I’ll take the low road, and we won’t meet.

This “Solution” would also apply to many US Universities where separatism and lack of objectivity run rampant.

All over the world, the sides are separating more and more every day, very clear lines are being drawn regarding a wide spectrum of issues, Two “States” (at least) exist.

Europe definitely needs it now before it disappears beneath the folds of the Hijab.

This is what you get when you try to force an unjust solution on Israel, and yes it IS ISRAEL’S FAULT for even listening to such foolishness.

I would like to suggest some humble advice, better stop it soon before the damage is irreparable, and I do not mean regarding Israel.

It is World folly and Arab hatred of Israel that continues to fuel this act of racism and ethnic cleansing. But that is not important. What is important is that the concept of a peaceful solution has changed, it has nothing to do with people getting along or working out their differences to better their existence or co-existence, it has to do with blackmail, extortion and a number of other admirable qualities, all being aimed at Israel.

Some good news is that at least there are more Jews waking up to this reality.

In Israel, all of Israel, the “One State Solution”, the One State of Israel, is the only way to a peaceful existence in this region. It is time that we ALL understand this and ALL work towards this, before it is too late.
